Kaduna United Shut Out From Home Fans

Kaduna United will play behind locked doors in their next three (3) home matches following assault on match officials. This happened in their last home tie with conference leaders Kwara United on Match Day 21.

The League Managment imposed the penalty in line with article twenty (26) of the rules governing the 2016-2017 season .

Official reports indicted some fans and supporters of Kaduna United for attacking match officials on the day after the encounter, and inflicting various degrees of bodily injuries in the process.

The Bet9ja NNL subsequently issued a seven (7) day ultimatum to Kaduna State Football Association to, as a matter of urgency, produce the assailants to appear before the Compliance Arm of the League on Wednesday, 16th August, 2017.

League management also fined Kaduna United one million Naira (N1,000.000.00) as fine for the offence committed. Kaduna United occupy the 7th spot on the log with 24 points, while Kwara United are topping with 38 points.

RESHEDULED  MATCH

Meanwhile, the League Management of Bet9ja NNL, has rescheduled the match day 26 tie between home side UNICEM Rovers and Gateway United of Abeokuta earlier fixed for Sunday,13th. The match will now hold on Monday, 14th August 2017 at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.

The change is occasioned by the Nigeria Professional Football League encounter involving Enyimba International and Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club (ABS) at the same venue.

UNICEM are 17th  on the log in the Sothern Conference with 25 points while Gateway stand 6th with 41 points.
